BRIEFING
Traits, not costumes. Each hostiles has a job — shield, heal, split, detonate, snipe, tether. Read the first-contact card. Counter it.
Loot is a reason. Corpses drop the pattern they lived. Aegis drops plate. Cinder drops blast. Chanters drop marrow. You are not rolling a slot machine; you are stripping a corpse for the tool it was.
Inspect before you bind. E opens a compare card: Equip, Pack, or Salvage into Ash. F salvages the nearest drop without opening it.
Rarity is affix budget. Common is a clean base. Legendary carries three traits and a name that belongs in the Ledger.
Field mutations. Level-ups pause the rift and offer three this-run upgrades. Shop ranks outlive the body.
LEDGER
Rare and better finds, once each. The line is what the gun or plate actually did. Repeat drops raise the found count.
BESTIARY
Logged on first contact. Unknowns stay redacted until they try to kill you.
